Spanish Verb Conjugation: Indicative Mood: Present Tense
Present Tense: Verbs with "Yo" Form ending -oy

OBJECTIVE:
Once you've arrived at this page, there's no turning back. Your prime objective here is to move forward, ... ever forward, ... and ingest, digest, everything on this page ...
TASK:
Take your time and LEARN this stuff. These particular verbs are the four cornerstones of Spanish mentality.
PERPLEXED?
Have you tried therapy?
Where did the -oy ending come from?
Who knows?
A good way to learn these is to think of each verb as a "yo-backwards" verb. That way when you get to using 'em, you'll remember to throw in the "yo-backwards" and say -oy at the end. (Hypno-therapy here)
Another helpful trick is to rhyme the entire conjugation of dar, ir, and estar. Doy-voy-estoy! Das-vas-estás! Da-va-está! Damos-vamos-estamos! Etc. Just say them all the way through several times (as a form of practice) and don't even think about what you're saying. This trick will bring the needed form back as soon as you need it, and you won't even have to think about, ... if you practice it enough times!

IR ir to go gehen, fahren, laufen
Each of these verbs must be dealt with as a special case, as irregularities will exist throughout all tenses.

Each of these forms can only be understood to be the YO form.
The YO is understood, because of the ending, so the pronoun needn't be used.
If you do add the YO, it usually adds emphasis, saying I doooo do this verb ...
